Build a life!
The Project:
This project puts us in a scenario as soon as we graduate high school and begin our own "life". Our task as students for this assignment is to fill out a slideshow consisting of questions asking what college we'd go to?, what is your career choice?, what is your weekly income?, ect. In the end our goal was to make sure that we stayed within our budget to be able to pay off all of our expenses we collected through out like, student loans, car payments, groceries, ect. |
21st Century Skill(s):
I applied the following skills which mainly made me prioritize certain expenses which could later help me in the long run, by not only getting me in the habit of choosing what's right for me, but also to grow to save money to be able to afford less prioritized essentials / expenses. |
Most proud of:
Completing the assignment. There wasn't a point in this project that really challenged me to get the "drive" to go up and beyond with completing this assignment. |
Difficulties?
Being able to create a stable budget for myself. Since I didn't know anything about how much things cost in the real world like buying a house, getting a car, and even student loans, it was extremely difficult to know if the money I was making from my chosen career was enough to get such necessities. |
Improvement?
Since I went over budget in this assignment (which isn't a bad thing) there are alot of factor that could come into play. I could either get rid of all small essentials and have enough, find cheaper alternative options to the ones I chose to have everything, and or change my career choice completely to have enough money without losing or going to anything cheaper. |
